Mrs. Jeladze and Ms. Meskhi being deeply inspired by the US educational system and US dynamic legal environment decided to initiate School of American Law for Caucasus and consequently has launched in 2012 this outstanding US master program with meaningful support and dedication of Professor Richard Warner.
Two prominent young lawyers Mrs. Jeladze and Ms. Meskhi by establishing of Chicago-Kent College of Law special program truly motivated their colleagues and legal practitioners to meet challenges of effective integration into the modern and globalized world.
Mrs. Jeladze is a board member and Head of School for American Law for Caucasus Region on behalf of Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology.
Mrs. Jeladze and Ms. Meskhi dedicated their pro-bono time of behalf of KMG Law Firm to effectively manage School of American Law operation in Georgia.
The founder members of School of American Law for Caucasus – Professor Richard Warner, Ms. Meskhi and Mrs. Jeladze have significant plans for up-coming future to ensure professionals’ effective professional adaptation and integration into globalized world.

Maia Meskhi is a founder partner of Knowledge Management Group – KMG Georgia LLP.
Prior to 2011, Ms. Meskhi served as General Counsel of Millennium Challenge Georgia Fund - US Department of State Project. In the capacity of GC at MCG Fund, Ms.Meskhi provided advices to MCG management on all legal issues affecting the MCG and its operations, including areas of evaluation, conduct legal due diligence and representation the MCG in Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Meskhi has an extensive experience of working in energy sector. Having held a position of a General Counsel of JSC Caucasus Energy & Infrastructure, she has thorough knowledge into legislative framework on hydropower plant development, licensing, administrative, contractual, and laws on obligation.
While working on drafting and lobbying legislation since 2006 during specific projects funded and implemented by Global Fund, Ms. Meskhi has a sound experience in drafting and lobbying legislation in administrative, criminal, and health care legislation. During the last 10 years she acquired an extensive experience in drafting and lobbying legislation in the following fields: health care, drugs, criminal code, code of administrative offences, civil code, tax code, tourism, non-commercial law, legislation of the Adjara autonomous region in Georgia, by-laws/subordinated acts.
