SAL consists two interlinked components:
- Pre-master program in Tbilisi, Georgia and
- Master degree program in Law (LL.M) at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Chicago, IL, USA;
If students of SAL graduate pre-master program in Georgia they will be eligible to complete LL.M. degree in one semester with the significant scholarship at Chicago-Kent College of Law. Pre-master program is the two-semester study conducted exclusively either by full-time professors or adjunct professors of Chicago-Kent College of Law with global legal and business industry experience. Two-semester study contains 100-120 credit hours of intensive sessions with ten courses. Learning modes of study period are one or maximum two courses per month covering weekends through full day sessions.
Students attending the pre-master program are graded solely by the Chicago-Kent College of Law professors on a 4.0 scale, and are required to earn a minimum 2.7 of grade point average (GPA) to be admitted at Chicago-Kent College of Law for LL.M. completion;
The courses delivered by SAL pre-master program covers the following modern disciplines: Electronic Commerce, Competition, Cyber and Intellectual Property Law, Introduction to American Legal System, Business Organizations, Online Contracting, Antitrust Law, International Business Transactions, Comparative Advertising & Marketing Law, Commercial Law, Privacy & Data Protection Law, Patent Law and International Criminal Law;
