Chicago-Kent College of Law is accredited by the American Bar Association in 1936 and is a member of the Association of American Law Schools (1951) and the Order of the Coif (1989).
Chicago-Kent became a member of the Association of American Law Schools in 1951, merged with Illinois Institute of Technology in 1969, and was elected unanimously to the Order of the Coif law school honor society in 1988.
